It's called a fan deck. If you go into Sherwin Williams, tell them you are doing work as an interior decorator and you need a fan deck to take on site with you. They want you to buy their paint, they'll usually hand them over with no problem. I've misplaced several and they're very good about replacing them for me. It also might make it easier if you ask them about setting up a house account because you'll be doing so much business with them. If you're flipping houses and doing the decorating yourself, you are the decorator for the projects. If that fails, I'll mail you one! (I have a dozen that they keep replacing because I can't keep up with them)!

This Site Might Help You.
RE:
What is the paint "fan" called that professionals use? It has all the paint colors on it.?
My husband and I are flipping houses and are tired of the millions of little paint samples that we manage to collect. We are looking for the paint fan or deck (think I've heard it called that) and have no idea where to get one. We have been online and not having any luck with the major paint...

i hate to admit it, but i actually made my own swatch sampler. Like you, i flip houses and had a huge and disorganised collection of chips. Every time we went to the paint stores (which was a lot), we grabbed a few dozen more chips and put them in a large photo album. we now have a very extensive library of colors. We tried just using online sources, but the colors are rarely accurately represented online. We have 3 albums so far and take them with us to every project.

I work for an interior design firm. We have accounts with Sherwin-Williams and Kelly-Moore. I just called them and you basically have to have an account with them to be able to obtain a big paint color deck.
My advice (it might work): Go into an interior design place and ask if they have one of those big paint color decks and ask to check it out. If they let you check it out, they might require a deposit. My firm requires a deposit of $25.00 to check out a paint deck. They will give you back the deposit when you return it.
I hope everything will work out for you! Good luck!

Every paint manufacturer has one - probably called a swatch book. They tend to be expensive, so choose the brand of paint you want, then call the manufacturer or the local store and ask to purchase one.

I am a painting contractor and we call them fan decks,I get them for free, but if you are not a contractor around here you can buy one for around 20 dollars, I have decks from sherwin williams, benjamin mooer pratt and lampert, and some other ones from smaller manufactures.usually the dealers around here (twin cities) will sell them retail to anyone who wants to buy one ,hard to figure nobody will sell you one.

If you want the complete one, it is a Pantone color guide. It is the standard for graphics artists and decorators.
Their website is http://www.pantone.com/pages/pantone/index.aspx. You could also buy it in art supply stores like Blick's and Charette's.
