I had to buy a clean & clear toner the other day (Oil Controlling Toner), because I ran out of the NATIO I usually use. They don't sell it in my town! After using clean and clear, I am only using it on my Tzone btw. My skin tingles!

Is this a good or a bad thing, is it too strong for my skin?

It shouldnt tingle. Toner should be ph 7.7, its made to balance the tone of your skin. So your not too oily or to dry. Maybe its reacting with something your have previously put on your face - did you wash with some kind of soap? Are you using a different cleanser too?

Does your toner have alcohol or acetone? If so, this is why you're feeling a tingling sensation. Products that contain these ingredients actually dry out your skin and will cause more oil production. If you can, try to stay away from products that contain alcohol, acetone, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, animal products, and mineral oil. The ingredients cause irritation and dryness. Arbonne makes a great toner with a witch hazel base. All of their products are botanically and water based, giving you maximum benefit without the tingly feeling. The toner is also formulated with nanosphere technology specifically formulated to meet the needs of people with different skin types (including dry, oily, combination skin). Products with nanosphere technology adjust to your skins specific needs and applies more moisture in dry areas and less is oily areas. If you're open to trying a free sample, I'll be happy to send you one.

that cheap stuff dries out your skin. slather on some oil free moisturizer if you have it. but yeah, that's why it's tingling. It's drying you out and zapping even the good oils.

I believe they say something like
"A slight tingling sensation lets you know it's working"
Or something of that manner.
If you continue to use the product, you will get used to it and no longer feel it.
