Why can't the US treat illegal aliens like Mexico does? What are illegals complaining about?

2007-03-07 08:04:40 · update #1

I did not get deleted...I just didn't get posted. It was a valid question. Mexico has been known to be very violent with those who are found to be illegal aliens, and to top it off people who even come to the country LEGALLY and become citizens of Mexico can't run for any government jobs, from what I understand. I have a problem with the USA not actually standing by the immigration laws already on the books.

Nothing wrong with this question. I've wondered the same thing since the day they had those protests. They are obviously living better here than they were in Mexico. They make more, live in nice houses and drive nice cars. They have jobs to go to every day and they are able to take care of family back home. What are they complaining about?

Because the USA's action is supposed to look more hypocrite than Mexico's.

But in real life, both the USA and Mexico have a good stand on immigration, both are actually quite relaxed in immigration. Despite Mexico looking more meaner in paper only.

And really, if you want to run for office, why bother? Just pay someone to run for office, he get all the associated good and bad consequences, while you get the benefit.

As for illegals complaining.

They think they are USA people, so they just do what the mass media educate them about on how USA people get what they want. Complain, complain, and complain till they get what the want.

The USA should educate people that you couldn't get what you want by complaining.

Mass demonstration, boycott, ban, strike, 'freedom of speech and expression', and so on should not be American favourite past times.

yes, its a stupid question. First of all, you can read Mexico's laws regarding immigration, but not realize that most are not enforced. I went to the Mexico Guatemala border, I saw no one working at the checkpoint. And I think the complaints are always going to be there, not so much about the crossing of desert and rivers, as with being treated as less than human once they arrive. Complaints about our current immigration laws are quite valid!

Some liberals believe that anything that remotely shows the negative aspect of illegal aliens is somehow racist or wrong.

The believe that they are entitled to their opinions, but if you disagree with them, you are not entitled to your opinion.

So your question was not posted. I had a similiar nonresponse when I posted that illegal aliens lie.

We have our own immigration laws and they should be followed to the letter.

Mexico is being quite disingenuous when they talk about our laws while their own are so much more severe.

Yes, there are many things wrong with your question. You don't elaborate on how exactly Mexico treat their illegal immigrants(I wasn't aware they had many), your point is unclear but probably stupid, and you've asked 3 questions at once.

Mexico treats immigrants very badly, particularly those coming from Guatemala. That is fact.

From that it does NOT follow, that it is moral for US (the U.S.) to do the same!!!!!!!!

Ever heard the proverb "two wrongs don't make a right?" ??????

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. It seems like a valid question to me.

No if we have freedom of speech it should include every subject and not be at the whims of people who desire open borders, amnesty, removal of all border patrol agents.

Nothing is wrong. Got deleted???.
Answer is, America should obey American laws. Even if you are dealing with inferior people, You need to adhere to YOUR standards and laws, rather then stooping to theirs.

But you can criticize them for that.!!!
