I am considering having large amounts of wiskey, getting a pair of pliers and pulling a tooth out!! Do I have to twist it first to release the ligament, if so what direction?? How much my blood will I loose?? Can this home operation be fatal?? There is still plenty of tooth to get hold of with the pliers

you could cause irreparable damage, end up with broken bits left inside your gum, you really dont want to go there, you can get excessive bleeding too, my sis had a tooth out a few years back, and she haemoraged, lucky she was at the dentist, not at home with a pair of pliers and a bottle of whiskey eh!

Go to the hospital, if you can't find a dentist. If you pull the tooth you may get an infection that could kill you. You may even pull the wrong tooth, it is possible the tooth the pain is coming from is not the problem tooth. Do you live in a City, there may be a school of Dentistry at a local hospital or University. You may get free treatment there.

A fantastic idea but flawed by the wrong tools , ordinary pliers will probably break the tooth and leave bits behind.
The pain will also be unbearable ,wasn't cocaine used on the gums as a local anaesthetic once.??Easy to get these days but a bit illegal.
Best of luck what ever you do

Stand back every one.......... Cads here......I once had a thing with a dental nurse, so I know what I am talking about....You need to get under the thing first to lift it.Have a look in the shed. You will need the following......Hammer,6'' Nail, pliers and or mole grips gardening glove(we don't want any infection now) flat file and a office stapler. When you get more practised you can use power tools....5 Gallon bucket and a sponge. It doesn't matter what order you use the tools in best have the phone on 999 speed dial just in case it goes horribly wrong... Do not drink as this will impair your ability to scream..........................

NO MAN, that is not how it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you try and do this you will crush the tooth into a million pieces and then have shards poking out but the root and anchors will still be there, you have got to get it pulled by a pro. They have a tool that cuts down the side of the tooth to grasp the underneath and pull it out, DONT TRY IT YOURSELF or you will be SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!

OMG...dont do it ! Yesturday I had 3 teeth pulled ..I was on laughing gas and several shoots of novicane....I was still in tears. THere was alot of blood and if you drink wiskey...u thin your blood ergo Massive bleeding and infection can set in. It only costs $80-$100 to have it pulled ...ITS WORTH IT!

DONT DO IT !!! I had two teeth removed yesterday and it was fairly pain free. Go to the dentist, much safer in the long run.

This is not a good idea. There is a possibility of doing damage to your self that would be very expensive to repair. Find a dental clinic in your area

Please don't! My nan did this once and she sure as hell regretted it, she got it half way out and then couldn't get the rest out, but by then she was in agony and bleeding quite alot. She had to call the 24 hour dentist to save her! I suggest you do the same, but BEFORE you attempt to go anywhere near your teeth!
