My dog has had this issue. You should bring him to your vet to get his teeth clean. It can get very nauseating so it would help. To prevent it from happening again, brush his teeth with a regular toothbrush and dog toothpaste! It really works.
P.S. I'm only 14 but I study animals and have the same issues!

OMG that is so crazy! I have a Jack Russell Terrier and his breath stinks too!! I mean STINKS! The vet recommend a dental cleaning that costs about $140 bucks, so I just give him some dog treats that are especially for his teeth and breath. They work pretty well, but it can be pricey.

Brush her teeth. You can get dog toothpaste at any pet store. If it persists, contact you vet, there could be some underlying factors that are contributing to this such as gingivitis. Only feed your dog dry food. Wet food (canned) is horrible for breath because it does not help with tarter breakdown. Hope this helps!!

well everyone says to brush the teeth and that's fine...but ...My dog has the same problem and my vet told me that all dogs have a gland in the anal area, This gland gets plugged and will cause the bad breath. I was told I could clean this myself, but no way I take him to the vet let him do it. Talk to your vet about this.

Try brushing her teeth if she'll let you. If not get her Dentabone, not sure if that's how its spelt but its a dog bone made w mint to rid bad breath. Also apples help in that area and apples and carrots help w reduction of tarter build up

its going to sound silly but try brushing her teeth. There are other chew products that clean a pups teeth. Do check inside the mouth to make sure there is no blood or sores in the mouth that could be causing the problem.
