An elderley lady is having a cateract op on one eye and is travelling to and from hospital by hospital transport alone, do you think she will need someone with her as it is a local not a general but I would think she made have her vision impaired. This person is very stubborn and is insiting she will be ok what do you think.

you will have to try and convince her its a very painful procedure,my daughter had it done last year and it was very sore afterwards,its of vital importance some one goes with her even if its local authority,good luck.

She will NOT be okay - you'd BETTER make sure someone is there to drive her home. Stubborn people sometimes need to be hit over the head with a 2 by 4 before they get something.

explain to the lady there will be blurring or maybe a dressing on the eye and her vision will be affected she really should have someone with her contact the hospital they may insist on her being accompanied

Agree with number one. She will be not OK for sure on the way back. Be sure that someone will be there and after her arrival back home. it is nasty think to get trough alone

yes she should be OK I've had both done and i walked out its only a local now
