Let's see. Was it because he was stuck with a repulsive Jesus freak? Just speculating.

first of all, satan is like God in the sense that they don't "make us" do anything. Your ex husband felt the need or a desire towards the same sex. There's a thing called free will, we all have it. Maybe you just don't read people that well. Usually when something like this happens, they have been gay for a long time and just have never done anything about it. And if you're such a good Christian, why do you care if you new boyfriend is rich? Sounds a little superficial

Sad that you have to blame everyone but yourself for your husband's preference. So much easier to pin things on satan and justify your own actions.
Why has no one brought up the fact that this woman is now an adulterer? Regardless of who or what caused his desire for a same sex relationship, the Bible I know says that a woman shall never re-marry if she divorces her husband.

Satan tries to do everything he can to get someone to take a wrong turn...
Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

You didn't give any details with your question. If your ex is gay, then so be it. If you are happy with someone else, then good for you. It is what it is. We all are tempted to do one thing or another, and it's up to us to do what we know is right. If your husband did anything to hurt your marriage, then it doesn't matter if he is gay or not - he didn't honor his vows, whatever he did or didn't do. Marriage is a 2-way street. My ex-husband is a peach of a guy (NOT!), yet despite what I consider to be an evil heart, I have to own up to my own contributions to the failure of my marriage.
I'm happy you are happy again. You can't change another person, but you can be the best person YOU can be. Blessings to you as well.

what SOME people are saying is right
1) if you are saved, "Satan made me do it" isn't an excuse. A Christian neither can be demon possessed, nor should they adhere to Satan. It's a choice he made.
2) you ex chose that lifestyle. People use the excuse of "I was born that way", but a) we have control over our own minds AND b) there is a such thing as abstinance. You choose what kind of relationships you WANT to have.
3) he was never truly saved. your ex was with us, but not of us.

I think your husband was always gay and just trying to fake it. It's better for him and you that you are seperated.
Have a great life. And remember - "hot-ness" and "richess" are cool but will melt away to nothing without love.

I don't think Satan drove your husband gay. But you on the other hand that's another story altogether.

He could've been faking it all along. Gay people aren't "insane."
