I'm really, really shy, and don't know what to say. all i can ever think of when i talk to a girl is crap about video games, and even I know that's a bad topic when you're trying to flirt.

Try to get some info from her friends if you know them or her dad, just the basics like her personality type or what she enjoys. (Finding out her absolute favorite things and she shows up to see them might creep her out, thinking she has a stalker) Ask her out face-to-face or ask her out in a creative way.(Most girls love creativity in a guy). Tell her how you feel in increments, don't drown her. And don't seem desperate and cling on. Give her time to think things over, but don't completely ignore her. It's good to say hello so that she knows that you are still interested. I hope this works out for you.

ok, ask ure dad about his ex co worker, and then find out her info from friends, teachers, blah blah blah, then invite her and a couple of other random people to start a book group, or a music group. Ask her to bring a fave book, cd, and magazine. Tada- 3 things about her instantly

Talk to her first. Try to get to know her, that kinda stuff. Don't just ask her out if you know absolutely nothing about her.. Then, if she acts like she likes you, ask her out. Just don't take it too fast.
