If you are against gay marriage, why do you think there are straight people who are for gay marriage, not just gay people? Also, why do you think there are Christians, not just non-Christians who are for gay marriage?

A seperate question, but one I am curious to, some people have compared this to the issue of whites and blacks getting married. Do you feel this is a fair or unfair comparrison? I've heard it stated that because people had no choice in being white or black that its ok for them to be married. Is this your position?

I think people's color is irrelevant to the debate. This may have been an issue 30 years ago, but it is not today. As far as your questions about why some Christians do not oppose it, I would suggest to you that Christians come in all flavors.

If you use that black-white argument, then I say the same applies to homosexuals. I think they are born that way and as such, they can't help it and should be allowed to marry whomever they wish.

As far as the black-white argument, didn't those people still make a choice to be married to the other? Some people argue that people, even if they are born with homosexual tendencies, still make that choice to live a homosexual lifestyle. Is this then somehow different than the black-white analogy? I don't think so, and I think either group should be able to get married if they so choose.

The greatest deception on Earth is the deception of religion. The Bible tells you that there will be many "who will come in my name," but who are deceivers. The entire Catholic Church is an imitation of the truth. You know followers of Christ from their fruits, not from the world's definition of Christianity.

There is absolutely no comparison between homosexuality and the color of a man's skin. Here again, this is a deceptive comparison, designed to give credibility to homosexuality where there truly is none. While we have no control over the color of our skin, we certainly do have control over who we are in Christ. It is therefore dishonest to suggest that race and sexual perversion have anything in common.

Not everyone takes their moral cues from an ancient book that perpetuates irrational prejudices.

One's sexual orientation is no more a decision than one's skin color or eye color or gender is.
