Yes it does. Using computers puts a strain on your eyes.... contributing to the deterioration of your eyesight.

It sure can. I have glasses that the lens change according to light and they are better for the eyes when working on a computer, but will still cause some damage..Hope this helps

According to my Optometrist it can cause certain forms of infections. In my line of profession I am constantly staring into the computer screen causing decreased blinking rate resulting in infections.

Yes, It has to do with the rods and cones in you eye and overstimulating them.
