God created mankind, wasn't pleased with his results, so he flooded the earth and started over. That was a screw up.
"for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me"
I think being a jealous spiteful god is a fault.

God is perfect. The difference between God and us : we have knowledge, but it is not as perfect as God's.
You may say that God has foults, but that is because you are imperfect. So God is not imperfect. God is perfect being, and anything created by God is perfect.
Because people do not see through the eyes of God—they see through their imperfect eyes-therefore they consider their own foults as God's foults.
