Their mother should bathe them for the first couple of weeks, then once their eyes open they will probably start to clean themselves. I really wouldn't recommend bathing them with soap especially if their eyes are not open yet. My family has been breeding dogs for about 5-6 years and have never bathed them before 3 months old.

I have new pups too, they are 3 weeks old I just use a warm cloth and wipe them off then put them under a blanket so they don`t get cold, they seem to be doing ok. Don`t get them to wet just a little damp.Sometimes if there is a big litter like my dog has and yours also the mother wont clean them all the time most of the time they don`t need to be cleaned but if for some reason they do use a warm damp cloth....My female doesn`t seem to want to feed them much at this stage so we have been giving them puppy formula and they do get in it and if she don`t clean them it will dry and get hard on them.Outside of things like this they do not need to be cleaned., Alot of puppy shampoo says not to use it on dogs under a certain age.

I really get sad when I read questions like this,,thinking that mommy and puppies are in your care. It should be common sense that you don't take new born puppies and put them in a sink. The mother will take care of the puppies, I really think she will take better care of them than you would.
When they get older you can use puppy wipes, you can get these from you local pet store and wipe off the puppies. In the mean time I think you should read some books on this subject .

you shouldn't need to bath newborn pup as the mother will do it, you risk the mother abanding them if you do. when the pups are weening, they will walk in their food, so you should use moistened cotton wool and gently remove any food that way. when my pups were 5 weeks old i did give them their first bath, as i was trying to get them used to water for the new owners.

The mother will clean them :)
you shouldnt really bathe your full grown dogs lots either unless they are muddy or really dirty because bathing them makes them release body oils and they manage to smell pretty bad afterwards.

No, you shouldnt have to. Their mother will clean them. I would suggest if the mother cant do this herself, gently clean them with cotton wool soaked in warm water.
