Constantly! My kids are now nearly 8,6 and 3 and I can remember the 1st's birth like it was yesterday! Everyone I know says the same thing - you're told the time will fly and you don't believe it but it does! And it's getting faster too with them all starting their own classes for swimming, football etc. Hardly time to draw breath some days!
You look forward so much to the landmark events but with the 3rd I was dreading them - he was the agreed last child so I didn't want all the usual things to happen too quickly. I wanted to keep him my baby for as long as possible!
The worst moment for me was when they were all out playing on a cold day. I heard footsteps behind me in the kitchen and I turned around and expected to see one of the bigger boys but it was the youngest. He was about 18 months at the time. His glove had come off so he held his hand up for me to fix it, turned around and toddled back out the house. I just started to cry - that was the moment that made me realise that baby was gone and he was his own wee independent person. It all happened far too quickly. At least the last 8 years are full of precious memories and great moments and it is a joy watching them grow up.

yes I do my eldest is now 16 and he has had a steady girlfriend for the last 8 months and he's now at college. My youngest is 14 and has only got 2 1/2 years left at secondary school.
It seems to start feeling ike that when they start going to school full time.
I keep looking at their baby photos and can't believe where the time has gone they are both taller than me now, but I'm only 5ft 4in lol

i feel the same my little girl is going to 2 on the 15th and my son will be 9 soon
i think it goes first because mother's are always busy doing something like clearing the house and shopping and picking the kids up from school and doing dinner and putting the kids in bed and that when you look at the clock say oh my days where has this day gone

My advice, make memories. Do fun things with your children that you will remember and cherish no matter how fast it goes by.
Also it seems to go by faster because they grow, time can seem to stand still when you're an adult because you don't age as fast. Something to keep in mind.

I feel the same too.
It is strange when I am at work the time goes so slowly, yet whilst at home there doesn't seem enough hours in the day to do my jobs and to fit in leisure time.

my little one turns one today and I was all emotional this morning - she has grown up so quickly and it has been amazing to see how she develops...her first smile, propping herself up, recognising people, crawling, just every little thing that has made her the little special person she is today. I can't believe a year has gone by - we just have to make sure that we love our children and enjoy them as much as possible! (plus it doesn't help that reminds you that you are also getting older)
