if you look like you should be in an abercrombie magazine why do guys usually try to put down these guys. you never see them making comments about these "rugged" guys.

because there is nothing rugged about preening infront of a mirror making sure that they've got just the right amount of hair gel... that every hair except the ones on top of their head is shaved off. Look if you like the whole Metrosexual thing then fine... just be ready to have to put your makeup on in the reflection of a window cuz your man is hogging the bathroom

And I'm sure that NONE of you women have ever had a pang of jelously when we paruse the VS catalog

Well thats because I believe that to be "rugged" as a man is more socially expectable not only in America but across the world. And the "ruggedness" personifies this specific male characteristic that we are supposed to carry with us as men rather then more of a famine characteristic. And; not only do men recognize this but woman do as well and far more often I believe. A woman is looking for that man with the certain bit of "ruggedness" if you well . There is a fine line between being "rugged" and then cleaning up well for a social function, women find that much more attractive.

speaking on behalf of myself its not jealousy. for most people the matter is that for those guys being modesl they completly deny themselves and their manhood. other guys see them as tools and douchebags, and pretty much all of those male models are cocky and arrogant, not to mention a lot of people hate those types of clothes with a passion and all of the people that go with them. kids that wear all those clothes like that and gel their hair up and what not are ussually frowned upon and it gets turned into the rich preppy look that a lot of ppl dont like. ppl should make their own style, not get peer pressured into somethng because the guys in the magazines are with girls or something

I'm a pretty boy. I've gone through a lot of BS from people, from my girlish hair, cute face and slim body. What makes it worse is that my family is wealthy and they take that on me too, envious a*sholes.
