My fiance and I are taking an all inclusive trip to Cancun in the Riviera Maya through Apple Vacations. And when I say all inclusive I mean EVERYTHING is included, even tips. As far as resorts go, it's lower-end, but I still hear it's nice and it's costing us around $1700 total - air fare, hotel, food, entertainment, activities, etc. to which we put $400 down and are free to pay any amount monthly until it's paid off (must be paid off 45 days prior to departure date). We booked a beautiful looking ocean front suite and I can't wait. However, be warned that I looked Apple Vacations up on the Better Business Buerau (I always do that before doing business with any new company) and they do have a few hits for conflicts mostly involving refunds - depending on which branch you use and the travel agent you go through. Luckily my agent is pretty good so far, so just be careful to get one who gives you all the cost and fine print detils up front before you sign anything. And remember that they do not give monetary refunds, even if you get the cancellation insurance. They give what's called Apple Bucks which have the same face value of your trip but must be used within a year of the original cancellation so if you are unsure of your date, don't book until you are absolutely sure.

Gatlinburg TN
Rent a cabin and have a blast.
The Preserve Resort has luxury cabins that will blow your mind. They are outside the city and they are fully furnishes... everything you need except the food! Hot tub, jacuzzi, pool tables, you name it and they have it! We stayed there (the Appalachian Villas) and loved it. We go back every year for our anniversary. It is not that expensive either. You could even fly into Knoxville if you are away. It is beautiful and totally romantic. Lots of FREE stuff to do in the park...including some of the most amazing waterfalls and scenery ever!

The Great Smoky Mountains! There are a multitude of cabins for rent, where you get the whole cabin for less than you'd pay for a hotel room in somewhere like vegas. The scenery is beautiful, there is no shortage of well-appointed cabins (king beds, jacuzzis, full kitchens, wrap around balconies...) You really should check it out. There's lots to do in Gatlinburg, and you're sure to find something.

Hmmm...I checked out ur 360 to see where u r from and it seems that you are in Allentown...right?
Why not go somewhere like NYC (Manhattan), about 2 and a half hours away near where I live there is the Mohonk Mountain House. It is a little pricey but well worth it. http://www.mohonk.com/
Niagara Falls, maybe?
Poconos?
Maybe get a cheap flight to somewhere like Florida?
Good luck and Congratulations to you both.
Take care:)

Niagra Falls. Classic, timeless, powerful imagery. Not very expensive. Side-travel to many other places, cities from Montreal, to the St. Lawrence river,etc...

Los Cabos is the most beautiful, romantic and can be reasonably priced as well.

Need more details, but if Hot Springs AK is close, that's a good place. If a beach is nearby or mountains, go to a resort. Try to hit Bridal Expos locally, many offer free vacations!

You can make memories anywhere you go.
Check some travel websites for 'deals'. Vacationstogo.com is good for cruises. orbitz.com travelocity.com
even Yahoo! Travel.
Also - if you can add where you are from (at least a state) I'm sure people could offer ideas that are local to you.
