I have bleach blonde hair and wanna try being a brunette. I don't want it dark, just a chesnut brown or maybe honey brown. What's a good brand of dye that has no ammonia or peroxide?

You know, with that much of a difference in color it is best to go to the salon to get it done. You don't want anything to go wrong. Some people when they dye from blonde to brunette they do it gradually.

Get advice and your product from a beauty supply place like "Sally". My mom has been a stylist for over 30 years and if she's in a pinch (like when she flew to FL to visit me and I wanted her to do my hair) she'll go to Sally and purchase the products there. It works great!
