Besides the standard toothbrush, hair brush & accessories, night clothes, undies and socks I would suggest plenty of coloring books, books, handheld games, cards (ie. go fish, old maid), perhaps a barbie type doll or small toy. If you have a portable DVD player that could be a huge help too.

I would approach this like I do when we take road trips that involve more than one day of driving. I go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of stuff that the kids can do while sitting still. If they have a particular interest, then I try to find things along those interests. When my daughter was 4 she loved coloring, stickers, etc....Then, save a few things for each day, so that when she starts getting bored, you can bring out that day's goodies....it's even more fun if you wrap them up in colorful wrapping....
Good Luck!

whatever u do, do not overpack. the rooms are really small and space is really limited. the dr. and nurses need space to move around in. since she is going to be on an eeg machine she does not need her pajamas.
do bring
favorite toy, blanket, pillow, clothing for yourself, blanket for yourself (there is nothing like a blanket and pillow from home) snacks for yourself, towels for yourself, shower slippers. bring a list of phone numbers because u won't be allowed to use your cell phone in her room and i am so sure she won't let u out of her sight to use the phone. ipod and magazines for yourself.
call the hospital and see if u can talk to a child life specialist. sometimes i see people packing things the hospital lends out like dvd player, play station, dvds

Don't pack everything, bring a littel more each day, so that there are events for her. School workbooks are good, as well as hand crafts (playdough, etc)
Everyone had some great suggestions.
Bring her blanket from her bed! It will help her sleep at night.

I would take her some comfy clothes, games, movies, books, favorite toys etc. Anything she really likes doing!! You want to make her as comfy as possible and try to get her occupied!!! Poor little thing!! I hope she feels better!!

comfy clothes to come home in, warm socks, her favorite things from home. ask her what she would like to take. she's old enough to tell you.
