It's been about a week and a half since my perm. It looks great but my hair is dry. My mom suggested a hot oil treatment but will it straighten/effect the perm? Please share experiences/advice... good and bad.

Try using it once a week. The perm is considered "set" by most after 24 hours. My mother is a beautician.

I used them when I had my perm and all it did was soften my hair. Now my perm was a real loose one and I still had to use moouse and spray to keep it curly so I may not be the best judge.

Yes it's great, will moisturize it, which is essential after a perm. Sometimes perms can be very drying.

I even have used it particularly some situations for some years bc I even have dyed my hair soo plenty that it has dried it out such as you does no longer have self belief and the vo5 warm oil is deff one i could use.I even have extensively utilized Aussies 3min.mircle which is going super too. so in case you dont like the vo5 warm oil try the 3min.mircle element bc it worked stable for me.=)
