The age of Aquars is based on the stars. The dispensation of the law was while the Lord Jesus Christ was on the earth. Galatians 4: 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, We are living in the dispensation of grace where we have salvation by grace through faith. If we trust and believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins then that is all that is requried. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The dispensation of Christ describes the current state of the world according to Christianity. In the Christian religion, there were a few specific, world-changing events (creation, the fall in Eden, the Ten Commandments, the Ressurection of Christ, the falling away of the Spirit) where God changed the rules between God and Man. We are currently in in the stage after the ressurection.
The Age of Aquarius is based on the astrological notion of precession of the equinoxes. The exact description is a bit technical, but basically the earth goes into a different Age, in backward order, about every two thousand years. Most astrologers believe the Age of Aquarius began toward the end of the last century.
You could write a book about either of these concepts.

Look at the symbols
Jesus brought in the Age of Pisces, hence the symbol of the fish
Before that was Aries, sacrificing the ram (Abraham) to contact God
In the ocean, the fish surrounded by water(Spirit) made of water, breathes water.
Now we will have the water to dispense.
These and greater things shall ye do.
