hi, im in 10 grade at my school. i have moved here for 3-4 months.these days, people are pushing me around, acting tough on me, because they know i won't touch them or fight them. i really try to avoid fights.I get a little nervous and a little scared when people do that to me. there's this other new guy, who came last month, but he is really big n strong, and all the so called big tough guys are **** scared of him, they ave become friends with him, maybe in fear of getting in fight with him. all the people that push me around never act tough in front of him, he pushes them around and they listen. but i am not really scared of the people here, they act tough when they are in class or with friends, but alone they become friendly and nice. i am a really nice guy and not bully, should i start fighting them? as soon as any1 tries to push me around, shall i go for them?how should i loose my fear? i heard everyone gets a little scared before fights, but some admit it.am i coward? bye, be nice.

This is a tough call, as getting respect when you are in high school is very important. Not fighting does not mean you a coward, just means you are smart enough to know better, if you are scared to fight this is normal, as nobody likes getting punched and kicked, or being humilliated in front of your peers. I'd advice to ignore these losers, but if you feel they cross the line don't be a pushover either. Start working out to get stronger, not just to be able to beat up people, but for yourself as well, and if you have a change try martial arts, it would make you confident and get you in shape. Also try to get friends who would be able to back you up should problems arise..

no your not a coward and dont listen to the clown before me that said kick them in the head.dont start fighting them if they start getting physical with you defend your self but otherwise just be calm and dont let them push you around but dont do anything to provoke them.just go and do some ma classes or boxing or anything to help defend yourself in the meantime just try to avoid them as much as possible until you leave.make friends with the other new guy.

no your not a coward you are already strong.. i mean its easy for me to just go up to some one a beat thim up..but its really hard for me to control my self...but then you have to think what will happen if you do start fighting... yeah they might stop picking on you but what about your school record.... or if you really hurt thim and you get in the cell?? think of your parents and everyone..and every posible thing that can and will happen if you face thim.... you can tell on thim so they get in trouble and nothin will happen to you.... or just dont fight with thim you can try to talk to thim or just block what they try to do to you.... or just do some thing after school or get a punching bag to get you anger out...(thats what i do..) and you al so have to think of what will they do if you start a fight... cause if their a group of people and they all gang up on you.. then you might get really hurt ... or try to get a group of friends that has your back.. like i will do anything for my friends or some one week but ill never stand up for myself.... well i dont really know just think about it and plain it out... do what is right not something that will make you end up out of school .. so just think about it... if it gets to a point that no one will do anything and fighting is the last thing to do go for it... but just think what will happen and is it really worth it ...

nope.....avoiding a fight is a sign of courage rather than picking one...... people make fights because they want to feel higher or stronger....

try talking.....if that doesn't work (for some obvious reasons)...
teach them a lesson outside of the school.....try to land one kick in the head...
