I would love it to be super romantic so nothing with an up tempo. Perhaps a popular song but a song that hasn't been played on the radio? Also, he and I were best friends since we were little so songs that have to do with marrying a friend would be great. Thanks for your help!

How about "Fernando" by Abba:

"There was something in the air that night
The stars were bright
Fernando"

You can slow dance to it.

Another Abba song:
"I do! I do! I do!"

There is the song "You're My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw. I rather older music like Otis Redding and Percy Sledge...."That's How Strong My Love Is" by Otis Redding is pretty.

Here's a few I can think of:

"Love Will Keep Us Alive" by the Eagles
"I Cross My Heart" by George Strait
"Forever and Always" by Shania Twain
"Your Love Amazes Me" by John Barry
"I Love the Way You Love Me" by John Michael Montgomery
"Just the Two of Us" by Pete Withers
"Stand By Me" by Ben E. King

If I think of any more I'll let you know...

This is a great song - it's in Spanish, but I can send you the translation - this means that the two of you would understand the song and everyone else would just think it's a pretty song. It's also "Our Song"!

"Lo Mejor de Mi Vida" by Band el Recodo

"The best thing in my life"
This night we are cloaked in darkness like we like it and I can show you without words, how much I love you.......
And I conserve the memory of the sensation of your body, burning my skin and bringing me pleasure.....

Another good one (also in Spanish) is by Joan Sebastian (a man) and it is called "Gracias Por Tanto Amor"
You calmed my anger, you paid for the errors of my ways, I have to tell you the truth, You are the love of my life.
I wouldn't blame you if you left me or forgot me, but there'e something else I must say, it would be so painful for me if you did,
Thank you for so much love, Thank you for existing, thank you for being the sun in my life.
Thank you for so much love, Thank you for existing, I can live happily thinking in all that we have.
Email me if you want one of these.
¡Congrats!

My fiance and I are dancing to "In My Eyes" by Joshua Kadison. It's a song most people know, but it's not on the radio all the time.

("You will always be/Ever more Beautiful/In my eyes" Most people think Elton John sings it....)

I suggest a song by Dashboard Confessional or Angels and Airwaves. They're really good and the messages in their songs are really great.

Country songs are good for that. What's wrong with a song that more people might know?
