This doesn't make sense because I never did anything wrong. (Well one time I did take a few marbles from my brother's bucket, but that was when I was eight years old, and besides he took those marbles from my stash.) Anyways, I refused to be called a sinner because I'm not one.

We are all born with inherited sin---that which we inherited from our first parents, Adam & Eve.

Romans 3:23 --"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

The only thing that releases us from that type of sin is death, for "the wages sin pays is death" (Romans 6:23) We then have the hope of everlasting life by means of the resurrection, either to life in heaven or eternal life here on earth. Jesus gave his perfect life as a ransom sacrifice on behalf of all imperfect humans, so that we would have the hope that Adam & Eve once had, but sadly, they lost.

I hear this all the time; People actually believe that the Bible says that Adam and Eve's sin is passed down the generations to absolutely everybody; we aren't even all decended from Adam and Eve, according to Scriptures.
You were born into the flesh innocent and without sin. No sin entered into you until you became the age of accountability.
And even then, if you ask for forgiveness, you are freely forgiven - in fact, God doesn't even want it brought up again. period.
Don't let people do this to you; the three friends that came to see Job and give him advice,
they did the same thing:
The first 37 chapters of the Book of Job is all these three friends telling Job that he was obviously a sinner, and to just come clean with it. Then, finally in Chapter 38, God says to Job:
(my words, but this basically what was said)

Job, what are you listening to those unlearned idiots for? Listen to ME.
Thats my advice to you today; don't listen to idiots. Go and have a great day, and don't even give that garbage a second thought, ok?

No one is born a sinner. Everyone is born with a sinful nature which will, eventually, manifest itself in every human being.

You have already been in contention with your brother over those marbles. At least one of you was sinning. (Yes, children sin, but God doesn't throw children into hell if they die.)

Have you ever lied? Have you ever hated anyone's guts? Have you ever made fun of someone vulnerable, or gone out of your way to make someone miserable?

I'm 50 years old. The older you get, the more you realize how mundane and everyday sin can be. Yes, Hitler sinned big time, but the person who cheated on his/her taxes, or the person who wouldn't let his daughter go out with a boy of a different race or ethnicity, or the person who gossipped about his/her neighbor, has also sinned. Sin is very commonplace, and we hurt each other in little ways--and in big ways, too--every day. That's why we all need a savior!

In the book of 1 John, the apostle states that any man that says that he has not sinned is a liar. You were born with the sin of Adam, which is death. You said that you stole marbles from your brother's bucket. That is a sin and it doesn't make any difference that you were only eight years old---sin is sin no matter at what age that it is committed. And please do not tell me that you have lived a perfect life since that time---I honestly cannot believe that. If you ever have had any thoughts of violence or hatred or jealous or envy against anyone, then you have sinned. If you have not received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are living in your sin.

In some Christian churches there is a doctrine we are all born sinners, and need to accept Jesus in order to be saved from the fires of hell. Other Christian churches do not believe in this doctrine. If you want to go to church find one in which you are not lost in hell.

In reality God created you perfect in His image, and you remain as He created you. Sure, you make mistakes in judgement, but He loves you anyway. How can a child grow into a man without learning through mistakes. We grow spiritually in the same manner. Heaven and Hell are the creations of man, not God. God is unconditional love. His love is always there for the asking.

We were all born into the sinful nature. Adam sinned therefore it got passed down to all generations. Anything not of faith is sin. Have you ever hated someone? Have you ever lusted after someone? Have you ever lied? Have you ever talked behind someones back (gossip)? Have you ever disobeyed your parents? Have you ever cussed? Have you ever rebelled? Where you ever disobedient to anyone? Have you watched things you shouldn't? The list goes on and on. We are all sinners, this is why God sent Jesus to pay for our sins, and when you give your heart to Jesus He gives you His Holy Spirit to live inside you and Jesus asks us to repent from our sins which means turn away from sin and turn to Jesus and walk in His Spirit, for the spirit and flesh war against each other, we need the Holy Spirit to help us not sin. Reading the word of God is your life's manual on how to walk according to His ways. I have to say, living for Jesus is FUN! Jesus is so cool and He chose to lay His life down for you so that you can be forgiven and saved. We do continue to sin daily, but once you have Jesus, you don't "deliberately" sin, but we need to be cleansed by the Blood of Jesus everyday. But it's all a choice. If you want to know Jesus intimately, ask Him to come into your heart and forgive you off everything you've done. It's OK, He's a safe place and He LOVES YOU! And the best part, you get to go to HEAVEN!!!

we are all born in a sinful world because of Adam and Eve our ancestors. Those that believe in Christ shall rise again.
Brother we are all sinners, WE are Not Spotless Just Forgiven, if we ask =!! I know I'm a sinner. The Bible says if we break one Commandment we might as well have broke them all, that way we can't be going around judging each other-that's up to Him, Thank God!! It is -we'd all be in TRouble! He gives Mercy and Grace!!

I agree... not a sinner.

If you were to view "sinner" as "ignorance" instead, then being born somewhat "ignorant" to the difference between "good" and "evil" or "right" and "wrong" might be a more accurate statement....

But even that is PERCEPTION.

Maybe it's that being HUMAN is conditional/LIMITED..... Where as God is UNCONDITIONAL/unlimited.

That is true, you were NOT born a sinner. You can not be given sins for someone else's mistakes or for sins you did not commit yet. Whoever told you that you were born a sinner was a liar.
