How do you know a girl is interested in you? - Girls Perspective Please, but guys welcome too!?

Hi,

I have seen a girl around campus that I think is really cute.
She knows this, as a friend that I know told her this. We have chatted a little but I know very little about her, today is the first time she said hi to me, after finding out that I said she is cute? Should I see it as anything? It started with her complaining when she was standing in a line to get food, that she is in a drought(with guys) I turned around and said her time will come. She laughed. A few days later, I was checking her out, and my friend told her I am admiring her(blind) I asked her about the drought and she laughed. Then today, I saw her standing in a line to get food, and she saw me, smiled, and its afterwards that a friend told her I think she is cute. After that she said hello when I was walking past her. I said hello back.
Any advice?
What do I do now when I see her around.
I don`t even really know her name.
Does this mean anything. I tend to stuff things up because I rush too quick.

so you've only really said hey to the girl. you need to start having real conversations. and that's all. for now.
oh, and hello means hello. don't read too much into that.
