The way I understand the doctrine of the Trinity, if you talk with or pray to God, you are therefore talking with and praying to all three persons, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. You ask the Holy Spirit to come and fill you with the wisdom and mercy of God, as well you ask the Holy Spirit for guidance as well as comfort when they are needed, which usually comes through prayer and talking with God. Therefore, I say that we are to talk with and pray to God in the person of the Holy Spirit as well as the Father and Son.

First you don't call the Holy Spirit, you invite Him. You pray as Jesus taught you. You pray to the Father through Jesus.

Once you're baptized, you have the right to pray to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as you see fit.

The three divine persons who constitute one God, and all the baptized, are all in the same "family".

Just remember to pray. God will sort it out.

once you are saved the holy spirit is already inside you. Basicly in your heart. It guides you and lets you determine right and wrong. We pray through Jesus to God. He is our intercessor. That is why Jesus died on the cross for our sins. So we could have a relationship with God through him. Hope this helps

Alledgedly, you are to pray to God/Jesus, but God/Holy Spirit is what fills you up.

Unless you are a Gnostic Christian, then the Holy Spirit is the Mother Goddess.

The Holy Spirit is within you the moment you believe in Christ (by faith alone) you don't have to call to him, or pray to him... he ministers to you thru your conscience.

No, it's not expected and not in his "job description." One role he plays is when we pray to the Father through Christ, the HS prays for us when we don't know what to pray - pretty cool, hunh?

The Kingdom of heaven is within you, acknowledge it, invoke it.
