Since the Bible itself is not a book of prophecy per se, I'd say it relates only to Revelations.

Yes that passage does mean the book of Revelation. However,
the Bible is God's written Word to us.
It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Above all you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21. (New International Version)

ok, now is this relating ONLY to the book of revelation? or is this the entire book. note: "this book of prophecy"
dunno.
35-65 to be exact after his death (written). Revelations was the last book. Period. They were 'compiled' years later, yes, but revelations was the last to be written (c. 90AD)

The entire Bible is the Word of God. If there were parts of the Bible that were not supposed to be God would have stopped it. He is all power. Furthermore, if we shouldn't take the Bible literally what does that say about the Ten Commandments?

This warning applies directly to the Book of Revelation, but it is equally applicable to all of divine revelation. We add to or take away from God's word, when we disobey His message, or change it for our own convenience.

I see it as refering to the visions that John recorded as the book of Revelations. That it was meant to keep the integrity of the vision and that if people took stuff out that they might not want in there...or if they added stuff to add further terror or unrealized blessings...that God would afflict them. If you say something is from God, and it isn't, God has a right to be pissed.

Hmmmm , you try to limit the power of God . God which is All knowing even before the earth was knew that the books of the Bible would be compiled into one book which we today call The Bible. why do people try to limit limitless Power?...... to answer your question, all or any of it.
