The same thing happened when my pug went through her first cycle. It is normal and sometimes the swelling will not go away. Her swelling has a good possibility of going down if you get her spayed. My pug's nipples looked like she had a litter of pups. After I got her spayed they went almost back to normal. Some dogs will go through a false pregnancy and their bodies will show all of the signs of motherhood just without the pups. It is perfectly normal.

That is perfectly normal. That is just what happens to a dog when they go through a heat cycle. It is a perfectly natural thing. I wondered the same thing when my dog had its first heat cycle and I thought that she might be pregnant but she was not and the vet told me that it is just what happens.

Many dogs go through false pregnancies without being bred. Its a combo hormonal psychological thing, (which is brought on by hormones also) You can't separate the mind from the brain. Or either from the body for that matter

yes this is normal for your dog, once she finishes her cycle her vagina will swell down and so will her nipples. Try placing a warm wash rag on her vagina it will help it swell down.

She is in heat again. Get her spayed. Unspayed females are 70% more likely to get cancer.
