No matter when or how we die, we will have a load of unrepented sins on us. It's the way we are as sinful creatures. God isn't standing there like a bureaucrat with a clipboard, counting them up. What concerns God is our relationship with him, and the state of our hearts towards him. Think of a parent with children. You don't cast out a child who has just broken a plate, teased the dog, called his brother names, and forgotten to bring home his homework assignment. If the kid loves you, and is sorry for being such a headache to you, and wants to do better, you are going to take him to your heart. So he apologized for the plate, but forgot to apologize for the dog -- who's going to nitpick? But suppose the kid in question is a teenager who really doesn't care beans for you, who has totally written you out of his life, but who is old enough and crafty enough to know the right words to say, to make manipulative apologies if he wants something. Do those fake repentances mean much, if the heart isn't with them? Don't worry about keeping "score" on you sins and penances. Concentrate on turning your heart to God, and focus on the loving relationship. That's what matters. Then, when that bus hits you, it won't matter that you forgot to apologize for teasing the dog. Your parent will be glad to gather you in, if the love is there.

Nope, after this life is the second death for those who did not believe, which is hell. For those that did believe, they only die once, and then are given eternal life in Heaven. See Revelation 20. (The ones that believe, pass from judgment to life)
Judgment does not mean we are given a chance to say we repent and believe, it means God is going to JUDGE them according to what they have done, and then they will be cast into the lake of fire---whose names are not found in the book of life- as Revelations 20 explains.

Your chances run out at at the moment of death. You are the one that makes the design to accept or reject.

Are you a good person? What a question, most of us believe that we are good people because we can look around and find someone that is far worse than we are. We can always point to the things that we think make us a good person.

But how good are we really? Dare we take this test and look at ourselves and see if we really are good? Hmmm.

If you are willing try this and see just how good a person you are.

The Good Person Test.

How will you do? Pass or fail?

Have you ever told a lie?
Doesn't matter how big or small, just a lie.
What does that make you? Before answering think about this, if I told you a lie what would you call me? A liar?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter, a piece of gum, failed to give back an ink pen that you borrowed, anything.
What does that make you?

Jesus said, "You know the saying of old, you shall not commit adultery but I say that if look at someone to lust after them you have committed adultery in your heart.
Have you ever lusted?

Jesus said that hate is equal to murder.
Have you ever hated anyone?

See one day we all are going to stand before a Holy God on Judgment Day and he is going to judge us based on His Holy Law, the Ten Commandments. These are just 4 of them and how did you do? Guilty? I have broken all of these and more, what about you? How well will you do on Judgment Day?

If we break just one point of God's Law we are guilty of breaking all the law and Gods Wrath abides upon us all. Based on God's Law we are all guilty and all are deserving of punishment. But there is an out for us.

Jesus paid the price for each one of us, took on himself God's Wrath so we wouldn't have to face it on our own. Jesus was beaten, battered, bleed and died so we wouldn't have to face God's Wrath. He rose again so that we would life in his presence. Our crimes, His payment.

The real question is where will you stand on Judgment Day. Pay yourself or have it paid for you. Think about it.

You are given many chances to give your life over to Christ in your lifetime. Jesus died for you therefore if you repent your sins are already gone. If you die without knowing Christ (unless your are a child) then you will go to hell.

If you are saved and you truly believe in the Lord you will be saved. Even true believers sin and fall short of the glory of God. If you have not been saved and you die, that is it. No more chances. You have your chance right now. Ask him not us.

I'm not a Muslim, but they have a saying: "Only God knows what you would have done had you lived longer." I like that.

But personally, I don't believe we need to repent, at least not in the Christian sense.

If you are saved before you die you will not go to hell. Even the best of Christians fall short of the glory of god.

Repenting, despite the current fundamentalist belief, is only the first step. Your karma must be balanced each "jot and tittle" as Jesus said. It's easiest to balance your karma in the physical plane, that's why we are here, we have a ton to balance

what's the objective for asking this question? What does it rely to you, individually, whether or no longer it particularly is genuine? Will it discredit the ideals of Christians for you if it have been genuine? in spite of the actuality that no-one alive on the instant can say for specific, i think of i'm able to relatively say that this tale is in all probability unfaithful and that Hitler does not have had the desire to repent of something he did nor convey regret even for what he possibly perceived because of the fact the failure of his observed countrymen and ladies persons. the difficulty for Hitler grew to become into that he hated Jewish human beings and jointly as the Jewish persons are many and assorted, I do have self assurance that Hitler grew to become into touching the "apple of God's eye" in treating them in such an evil way. Hitler might have repented of "failing to do the works he grew to become into given" yet I doubt that Hitler understood what God wanted of him in the 1st place. definite, Hitler might have been a vessel of dishonour for using God yet Hitler himself and his cronies got here up with the plans to handle human beings in an evil trend. Hitler actual did no longer understand nor savor Jesus nor what He were on earth to do and doubtless he grew to become into inspired by technique of anti-semitism from church materials too (Martin Luther possibly?)?

What a great question.
apparently repentence and forgiveness couldn't only apply in Life. I mean- if god forgives, and heaven is a wonderful place... it does seem logical
