just curious as my dad has 17 brothers and sisters and he makes 18,i have relatives who i don`t even know out there!!has your parents got a large family like this?

My dad has 13 kids in his family. I meet new relatives all the time. As long as they aren't asking for money it is cool. LOL. Enjoy your big family.

Yes. My husband has 6 siblings. 2 sisters and 5 brothers. He would have had a cople more siblings but they died. :-( He has one sister who has a baby. One brother has 9 kids. One has 13 kids. One has 4 kids. They all live in the same house except the sister who is married. She lives with her husband. Also his siblings live with their parents in the house they were born and grew up in. They live in Saudi Arabia and my husband and I plan on going home there next summer hopefully. As for my family it's not large. I got a 17 year old sister, 7 year old sister, and a 4 year old brother who will be 5 this June.

My dad is one of 12 and my mom is 1 of 8, So I guess this would be a big family. I moved to a different state to find a husband in fear of finding a relative I didn't know here. If this makes sence..

Yes I have an aunt that has 12 kids and I am 10th of 16 in my family. Whats hard is trying to make a schdule for the bathroom to take a shower before the hot water runs out. GOOD LUCK!!

My dad was one of 14 children, i myself have 3 older brothers and 2 older sisters, and between them i have 13 nieces and nephews !yet my mum only had one older brother and one younger sister and brother!
My family is massive, i have got 84 first cousins alone and i dread to think how many 2nd cousins are out there.
I haven't met half of my family and could walk past them in the street and never know we were related.
My B/F used to be good friends with some guy who turnt out to be one of my 1st cousins and i'd never met him in my life!

yes i have a large family i'm one of 6 my mum one of 10 my dad one of 4 my father in law one of 10 mother in law one of 8. Just directly related to me is my parents 4 brothers 2 sister in laws' 1 sister 1 brother in law 3 nieces my gran 15 aunties 14 uncles 33 cousins and 14 2nd cousins and we're all really close and i see them all frequently!!! Xmas is expensive in my life!!!! And my precious son and beautiful daughter!!!

In my family one branch has 21 children (only one girl - 21 BOYS! - that's so unusual, but documented). My father is one of 11. I think big families are great. Make an effort to have a family reunion, it will be a blast, we do it as often as we can. Good luck and God Bless.

i can relate to that! check this out. my grandma on my mothers side is #9 of 17. my mother is #5 of 9 and i am #3 of 7. as for me i have 4 of my own and going for 2 more. about 7or 8 yrs ago i asked every one of my grandmas bothers & sisters that still live to give me names of all my aunts and uncles so i can document my family tree. to this day i am still working on this project but i know that when is all done is going to bring exciting emotions to my familly. i bet some one in your familly has thought about putting together the familly tree but with that big familly of yours no one has dared. If this is the case, I challange you to do it!
Remember that is not to early to start buying xmas presents. Good Luck!

I am one of 16 children and one on the way!!!! My mum is one of 10 and all my mums siblings have over 5 children each (Count my cousins!!). It is horrible as a child having a big family but you seem to love it as you get older...More places to go and visit!!!
