Try waxing. It's painful, but your legs will be smoother for much longer. I've heard Nads works well for that too.

get a wax at a professional salon, that should prevent regrowth for 4-6 weeks. in time, hair will also grow back finer. for a cheaper alternative, you could also try hair removal cream. it prevents regrowth for up to a week. despite what some people think, shaving does not cause hair to grow back thicker. when you shave, you're not removing the hair at the root so that's why it grows back blunt and coarse. you can also get laser therapy-this is really expensive but it removes hair permanently, you can consider that as an option for the future and just stick with waxing for now...hope some of this helps

Exfoliate before you shave, use a good razor, change the blade often to get the closest shave possible. I have found a shave cream called Sweet Satin Shave from Benefit, that keeps my legs smooth 3-4 days as opposed to 1 day with regular shave cream.

is this a problem year round or just in the winter time. I notice my legs are scratchy by the next morning only in the winter time due to the cold. in the summer i can shave and have stubbles about 3 days later.

Honestly, I have tthe same problem. It sucks especially during summer you have to wake up to shave before going swimming or to the beach. If you are brave enough, I would try getting them professionally waxed. By the time you go to the store and buy all the strips you need it is almost as costly and going to a salon. Also, I would reccommend getting laser hair removal, you might have to save $ for awhile, but after your first treatment it starts growing slower. I would suggest going to ideal image for that, Otherwise just deal with shaving everyday, its a hassle, but it gets the closest. Nair has never really worked for me.

you *should* give up shaving. try either laser or waxing. otherwise the hairs will get thicker, darker and stronger day by day and your legs' skin will be damaged badly (bleeding, getting scratchy, look darker, maybe ungrown hair problems, etc) because of shaving everday. first of all, keep your skin clean, dont let your skin to get dry, use daily moisturizer cremes a few times in a day, let the hair grow for a while, make peeling once a week. after the hair grow enough, try laser or waxing. you will see the change in a few months if you look after them well. please stop shaving.

I've had the same problem for years, and have also been searching for a solution. I know for some people, nair and waxing lasts, but not for me! i feel your pain with summer approaching!
I hope someone else knows a cheap alternative to shaving every day!

Well I have the same problem, I usually have to shave twice a day just to keep smooth, I have to bleach all my facial hair every month, and I have to pluck stray chins hairs before they get too long. I blame it on my mom she's a hairy italian woman, you must have some in you too.

Nair never seems to do it for me. If I had the money Id wax. I'd deff try waxing and see if that helps yoou otherwise. I usually just wear shorts every other or every 2 days if I need.
