This is a comparison of Christ and church to a husband and a wife. Perfect love.
This is the very controversial scripture about how a wife should submit to her man. If you look at other translations and the whole passage it isn't about a woman being a doormat for a man, it is about them putting each other first so each is its best and so they can do great things together. It is about commitment, partnership, and allowing each person to be a refuge for the other.

I like Song of Solomon 8:6,7. Very pretty and strong. Just don't use verse 8 by mistake! You might insult your bride!
