Okay so my gf broke up with me about 3 weeks ago. We've maintained contact, and have seen eachother a bit. Strictly as friends. I have tried presenting solutions to a lot of our problems, and trying to work things out with her. She is unbelievably stubborn and hasn't budged... Until last night. We were planning on going to a concert tommorow night, as friends. But now she is claiming it is a date. No expectaions, but maybe just looking at it a little more than just "hanging out" as buds. She actually came out and asked how I felt about it, and her. I want her back..but I have a lot of things to prove to her. Things that led to our original demise. (confidence, trust, etc) I told her i just wanted to take her out and show her an awesome time, and we'd see what happened. I don't want to get my hopes up, or screw this up. How should I go about this?

YOU NEED TO LET HER KNOW THAT YOU CAN'T CHANGE OVER NIGHT, BUT YOU ARE WILLING TO TRY. AND SHE NEED TO TRY AND NOT BE SO STUBBORN. I KNOW IT CAN BE HARD TO BE WITH A STUBBORN PERSON BECAUSE I AM ONE AND MY HUSBAND TAKES A LOT. I REALIZE THAT AND LOVE HIM FOR IT. SO I TRY TO NOT BE SO STUBBORN ANY MORE. YOU SOUND LIKE A REALLY GOOD MAN. GOOD LUCK.

If you're asking how to go about you're date, just keep it real with her. A girl always wants her man to be honest. But I wouldn't tell her until after the date is over. If she brings it up, just tell her th@ you have more than enough time to discuss that and just enjoy the night of fun. Although if she demands, then......you can give her a taste. You're out to have fun, and have as much as you can while it's there. When the night is over, then you can feed her the rest. Answer simple questions, the most complex questions can be simply the "why"? Ask her why she thinks? But not to all "why" questions. You want her with a question of feeling when she heads to lay her head down for the night.!!! Thats when you've got her heart again. EVERY WOMAN IS INQUISITIVE!!

Well it sounds like your ex is a bit confused. I say act the way you would have if ya'll were going out as friends. Don't push things with her--just go with the flow and have a good time.

Just try to make sure she has a great time. This one date isn't going to fix all your problems or even ensure that you guys get back together so don't put too much pressure on it. Just make sure you make it great for her and you make her feel special and hopefully you'll get a chance at a second date. Good luck!

Texting lets you control the tone and establish what kind of conversation you want to have. Learn here https://tr.im/4mL6h
This is probably the most important part. With texting, you can stop and think about what you want to say to your ex at each step of the way. Instead of reacting emotionally, you can take your time, figure out the right thing to say (I’ll give you most of it), and be strategic with your ex without saying something that you’ll regret.

Well, it's obvious she knows you if she's your ex. Just be yourself and try to control your issues, keep that in the backseat for a night. If she is stubborn than let her be the one in control for just one night and see where that goes. That way when you see her the next day you can make her see your point about how stubborn she is. The only way to make a blind man see is with his hands!

Just be yourself! By the way I think it is ridiculous to expect a person to change. It is stupid to expect a person to change any thing about themselves for the exceptions of bad habits.
Example: I don't want my old man to change any thing about himself. Only his bad habits and ill treatment of me. Perhaps give up some of the things he does that attached persons should not do. Such as cheating on the Internet. Like viewing porn and joining dating sites. Other than that, I love his stubborn streak. I love him because he is a challenge!

Just continue seeing her and whatever happens happens. What's meant to be will always find a way...It'll either work or it wont. Dont have any expectations, just keep living life as if you're the passenger, and fate is the driver.
