Live your life. Your friend will still be your friend. Dont pressure them to spend time with you instead of the new gf.

It's just a natural progression of events. His girl friend will take his time and attention...it doesn't mean you are not still his best friend, but the relationship is different and she will have priority.

You will discover, when this happens to you, that you will be the same way. You can double date with he and his girl and still spend time doing things together. Hopefully you will get along with his girl friend, and he with yours.

When you get married, it is the greatest thing if his wife, and yours become friends as well....it makes it much easier for your friendship to keep on going.

its not that your friend doesn't need you anymore its just that he has a girl now. probability one he really cares about. Ive been in the same situation only it was a little different. i was the girl. it wasn't that he didn't need his friend anymore he was just in love and trying to get to know me better. instead of the friend supporting him he spent a year telling lies and causing drama to get us to break up. needless to say its been almost 3 years and we are still together. the only thing is we live in another state. the bad thing for his friend, when he was with me he would always talk about his boys. don't make the same mistake cause it could cause you your friend. support him and be happy for him.

I would say ...if you want to keep up the friendship relationship going with your friend and his gf, invite them ...at least once
a month out to lunch or a movie....if after third attempt of you
inviting them, they keep saying they can't or do not have time etc.........just forget about that friendship and move on, to
start making new friends.

Obviously you have learned how important your friendship was to him. I say write them both off and find two new friends! Take your mind off it, join a volleyball team, volunteer at the animal shelter, volunteer at the local library (this will not only take your mind off them but you will meet new friends and possible a new girlfriend). Good luck and God Bless.

Don't feel sad, coz you are still a good friend for him. Your relationship with him is different with his relationship with his girl friend. I'm sure, it will be happened to you too when you have a girl friend. Keep going with your friendship.

you should be happy for your friend!if you miss his company then find someone else to hang out with, dont think that your friend left you for a gf, because a friend is always a friend no matter what. Dont get jealous. be happy for him!

I dont think it should matter since the two of u as just friends to begin with. If u are his real friends then u should be happy for him/her. In the end he'll thank you for it. ;)
