My 4 year old loves it when we go to the park, in my area we have a park that has a playground, and a petting zoo that is free, if you have something like that I'm sure your son will have fun.

First off, Chucky Cheeze is not a great place to take your child. Take him to the zoo. To an animal farm. To a museum. To an art fair. To any place that they can learn with wonder.

The park is always fun. If it is cold dress him in a few layers. Plus if there is snow he will have fun playing and rolling in it. I recommend snow pants though. Kids need the time to use up some of their energy plus it is a great way to include exercise in his day. The library is nice for some quiet time. Check your local library for storybook times for kids his age. It is a chance to show him many different books that he can borrow to take home and read. You will be amazed how exciting it can be for some kids to look through such a variety and have the freedom to choose which ones they want to borrow.
