you could make it real simple, and one day, when it's just the two of you hanging out, ever so casually ask her" what would you do if i asked you out?". its close enough to asking her out that if she likes you, she'll tell you. but it's far enough away, that if she's not into you, it won't the wreck the friendship.

start off slowly. Take her to the movies alone with you, next, bring her out to a nice dinner, and then ask her to go out with you after a couple times out. Tell her that you want to take the relationship to the next level, how much you like her and she might feel the same! Good luck

well jus so u kno ahead of time things don't really work out if u guys been friends that long cuz sumone in the relationship would be like things are too weird since we were friends for such a long time..& i don't wanna mess it up..but u'll never kno things could work for u..jus go up to her and tell her how u feel
