Catholics believe suicide when committed in full knowledge and deliberate consent is a complete turning away from God (a mortal sin) and will send a person to hell.

There are 3 conditions of a mortal sin: grave matter, full knowledge, and deliberate consent.

While suicide (or any kind of murder) is always a grave matter, people who commit suicide may not always have full knowledge of what they're doing. Drugs can definitely impair one's thinking, as can other things, such as diseases, intense pain, or anguish.

Therefore, suicide is not automatically treated as a mortal sin.

We are commanded by Christ not to judge others so we leave final judgment to God who alone knows each person's heart.

With love in Christ.

Depends on the religion. Some believe that anyone committing suicide will never be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven. Others, including the one I belong to, believe that it all depends on the frame of mind of the person committing suicide. There are those who take their lives in times of great grief or due to depression--they are considered to have been not in their right minds and are forgiven. Those who do it as a purely selfish act (I'll show them...I'll kill myself because..."fill in the blank") are seen as being irresponsible and therefore not forgiven.

I believe God will forgive anything. But your question bothers me.
If it is you, your talking about please talk to someone close to you.
Life is a struggle sometimes. But it is all we have. And people love you. And need you. And want you. Do not consider suicide as an option, PLEASE.
