I started potty training my daughter who is almost 2 years old my question is. Once she gets the hang of pottying do you keep reminding her or does she tell u when she has to go.
Just curious.

You should keep reminding your little one to use the potty. When my little girl started potty training, I would ask at least once an hour. At daycare, they would take the kids who were potty training to the bathroom every hour even if they didn't have to go just to remind them that they should not use the potty in their pants. My little girl is three now and I still have to ask her if she needs to potty especially when she is playing.

Mine just turned 3 and I still remind her, even though she usually tells me when she has to go. Sometimes she gets caught up in playing or watching her favorite show and I am afraid she will have an accident.

It depends on the child. I have 2 3 year olds. One of them will tell me when she needs to go but my other daughter really wont say anything unless she really has to go, so I have to ask her, she doesn't like to be interrupted to go to the bathroom when she is playing.

I still reminded mine, and it helped. If she can talk that's god, but reminding them cause they get busy playing and might forget, so it'd be good for her.
