If you are asking about biological differences between skin color, it is nothing more than different amounts of pigment in the skin. All skin has identical pigments no matter what race, there are just different amounts of the pigments. Not a very big difference.

It's just the amount of pigment in the skin. Same goes for hair and eye colour. The amount of pigment found in a person's skin is genetic.
