Can I spray hairspray and/or static guard directly onto my hair strightener? Thanks

No. It will make a sizzle sound when you do it. It sounds like you are trying to eliminate static. Hopefully you are using a straightener that has a temperature control so you can adjust it down. When you use your straightner on a high setting you are running the risk of seriously damaging your hair. I used to turn the setting really high up on mine and it would make my hair crispy and really dry. Then I started leaving it at a lower setting and allowing my iron to heat up well before I used it. And this really helped a lot, I didn't damage my hair as much, and it was nice and smooth and less static. Another quick fix to eliminate static is using a USED dryer sheet. A few swipes and no static. Sounds silly but it does work!!! Sometimes I wipe my cats with them in the winter to help eliminate their static. :-)

Not really, too much hair products can make your hair look dusty instead of shiny

no you spray that on your hair not the straightener cause it is likely that it will dry up too fast!!!!

uh...why would u do that...it would cause alot of build up on the straightner
