God forgives your sin. He never forgets about you, he didn't forget about you in the past. If you have asked for forgiveness, if you have asked Jesus to be your savior, then the past is gone in His eyes.
There is no condemnation to those who are in Jesus.
It is people who forget about God.

"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, and all things have become new, and all things are of God." 2 Corinthians 5:17-18
When a person acknowledges Jesus as the Lord of their life, more happens than just "being forgiven". They actually are changed in their deepest part (their spirit) into a total new person. Jesus referred to it as being "born again".
The things that you did before are wiped away, forgotten, in the mind of God. And you get to start life all over as a new, righteous person. Unfortunately, our minds do not work the same as God's. We still remember those things, are still scarred by them, may still desire them, and may have to deal with the guilt, pain, etc that comes from them.
So God does not stop at the moment of salvation. Rather that is just the starting point of the process to get us all the way cleaned up. It is like with your child - once you have forgiven them, then you still need to teach them how to avoid that temptation in the future. So God (too) often has to do the same with us. He promsed in 1 John 1:9 that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us AND to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".
Sounds like you have taken the first step - and applaude you for that and the wonderful man who helped you. From here, it is simply a matter of learning to know God, hear his voice, love him, and to let him cleanse all of those old things he has forgive out of your heart and mind also.
You will be in my prayers today....

God doesnt 'forget about you'... and if you sincerely want to turn from those things and accept the forgiveness that God offers thru His Son, Jesus... you will be forgiven.. the slate will be wiped clean. The hard part is staying on the path that God is now putting before you.. to stay in His plan, leaving sin in the past.
God wants a personal relationship with you.. the best way to find that is to read the bible... find Christian friends to hang with who can help you in your day to day walk... and spend time praying... and also listening to what God will say to you!
Have faith in Jesus.... it is only thru Him that you are saved

The Bible says that He no longer remembers our sins when we repent, ask for forgiveness & open our hearts to Jesus(are born again). So forget about your past you know who holds your future!!However just because you are born again does not mean that you continue to live in sin. There must be a change in you!

That's the whole point. God will forgive all sins if you ask him to. That's why He sent Christ. I did all those things that you said and then some when I was in my rebellious years. I have since found God and accepted Jesus. God doesn't forget about anybody. It's never too late.

properly in spite of god is, I doubt that we are able to comprehend it very virtually in any respect. it somewhat is the element of it being a god. additionally, speaking philosophically and not blind faith, the concept in a 'god' or mandatory being is predicated on the actuality that that's infinite, and has no author. Believing that god is purely yet another contingency makes the have faith a hundred% meaningless. God (in such arguments like the Cosmological Arguments) is the reason to the sequence of contingencies, a mandatory being.

When someone truly repents to the Lord, meaning they want to turn from their sin and follow the Lord--God does a great work in them, and gives them a desire for Him. God knows if your heart is truly repentent. And when you pray and ask for His forgiveness and for His salvation, He gives it freely--when your heart is truly seeking Him.
And yes, you are then made "righteous" in Him--no longer in the bondage of sin, and no longer do you want to sin-that is why He gives us His holy Spirit. When we do sin, we confess and know we are sinning--but this does not mean we can sin--why would we want to? See Romans 5 -it explains the grace of God and our trespasses--how Jesus has paid our debt when we put our trust in Him--we are washed clean, forgiven and given a new life in Christ Jesus.

If you want to be saved, or forgiven!, then you just have to pray, and tell him you're sorry, and mean it!, and its all done!, He'll forgive you, and will not forget you at all, He always looks after His childrens, and if we don't run away from Him, and let Him help us, then we will feel much better, and in peace.
