hello everyone, my daughter is two years old and still has some cradle cap on her scalp. ive tried softening it with olive oil and scraping away the flakes but i dont think its effective . Any suggestions appreciated

try detanox shampoo, its for babys but its worth a try i use it on my LO and she doesn't have any cradle cap anymore

Lavender oil is great and soothes the itchyness.

If all else fails do not use an industrial sander!!

OK joking aside,
if all fails, a trip to your GP will be called for.

I used baby oil on my daughter, put a lot of baby oil on and let it soak and then try to remove it. you might want to see a doctor about it.

try a few drops of lavender oil mixed with baby oil worked a treat for our little girl..........guid luck

keep trying the oil, but also put lotion on her head after every bath...water dries out skin, and lotion will help put that moisture back in

Any kind of dandruff shampoo will work wonders, just keep it out of her eyes.

scrub it with listerine. It has carbolic acid in it and disolves away.
