It's like comparing apples and oranges. They are completely separate entities each with their own good and bad points. Why don't some of you explain it since it's incomprehensible to me why you would fling insults at each other when there is no comparison to be made much less to fight about. And please, use the spell check when you respond!

I don't get it. Some people just don't grasp that things can be different. Just think how boring it would be in the world if everything was done the same?
If all racing was done exactly the same it would be boring as hell. To each his own. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you have to go around knocking others interest.
I don't tend to know everything there is about Nascar, but I know more about it then any other racing. I started out at the drag strip and the figure 8 track when I was younger.
I dislike know it all jerks....
The one thing I have learned about fans.
Its NOT cool to be a Earnhardt, Gordon fan.
Its like black or white, day and night.
But, I think its funny because we have friends who like Gordon and we are always at each other with little jokes, or gifts to get at each other....ITS ALL IN FUN..
We laugh at the people who have Earnhardt and Gordon stickers on their cars.....
I was driving down the road one day and I have Earnhardt all over my car and I got flipped off by a perfect stranger. As he passed me I saw he had Gordon on his window.
So, I laughted and waved, he smiled and waved back....
Like I said its all in fun...
KEEP IT THAT WAY...

I have no idea! It is Apples and Oranges. It's like arguing over hockey and volleyball!!!!
I like most all forms of racing. I watch as much as I can. Certain F1 people can't grasp a hold of the fact that it's NASCAR's simplicity that has made it so great. That's the box, so to speak, that they've built the series around. F1 decided to put cutting edge technology into there box and that's great too!
The World of Outlaws are the fastest car's on dirt and the NHRA Top Fuel and Funny car classes are the quickest accelerating vehicles in THE WORLD.
They all have there own 'niche' in the racing world.
That guy MC HUMMER is one of the people you speak of. He has almost 4000 posts/answers in 11 month's which is about 13 a day and I would imagine all of his answers are as useless as the one above. He needs to get back to work or something.

I don't know if it's quite an "apples and oranges" kind of thing. Rather it tends to be more of a "what I like is good and what I don't like is bad," along with the always popular "you must be stupid and not understand racing if you don't like this."
Actually comparing different forms of racing and looking at the differences and what it takes to be successful in these different pursuits would be interesting! I think there are obviously alot of commonalities between different forms of racing, though it's the differing aspects that tend to make one jump out and appeal to us (or otherwise as the case may be).

Because some people think they know everything about anything. I run into these type of people all the time. Then when these certain people meet or talk to others like themselves, they usually fight and fling insults and throw tantrums. My ex and his family were alot like this. Such asses!!

They do it because they're desperate to make NASCRASH look professional. It's equipment is third rate, it's safety is third rate, it's rules and organization are third rate, and it's fans...well, the less said about them, the better.
Watch REAL racing: Formula 1, GP2, F3, Le Mans racing, rally, Supercars, MotoGP, WSBK, etc.
