why is it when i open a web page it sayes waiting for http?

Probably because the internet is very busy & your system is waiting for a reply from the other server. Not knowing exactly what the message says, I can only guess.

Make sure, if you decide to call tech support, that you write down the exact text of the message, what you were doing at the time, and what exactly happened. That will help them determine the solution.
