are the nose bleeds happening mostly in your home? I'm not sure where you live but if you're dealing with the winter weather this could be why...
It's been a very dry winter and it's causing for a lot more nose bleeds and dry skin etc. If you think this could be the cause, try boiling some water on the stove to add some moisture to the air!

It depends on your child, my 4 year old son has nose bleeds every day because our climate is very dry. The doctor suggested keeping their noses lubricated with nose drops like Little Noses, you can find it in the children section of any grocery store! It does work. Also if your child takes antihistamines it dries their nasal passages and causes them to bleed.

If your son is constantly having nose bleeds he should see a doctor asap. Some kids will have nosebleeds because of the lack of moisture in his nostrils. But take him to the doctor just in case it's not anything more serious.
You may just be able to put saline drops in his nose.

It depends. Do you live in an area that is extremely dry? Most likely not. You should probably take him to see his doctor. A nosebleed could be a sign of a number of problems. You need to take him so they can find out if it's just the dry air or there is something wrong. I hope everything turns out for the best.

For me, for this age to have nose bleeds it is normal. There were lots of children younger as your child had experienced this also don't worry.

In winter when homes have more heated air circulating, the membranes in the nose can dry out.
Nosebleeds can happen more when air is dryer.
Humidifiers are handy in dry air situations.
If he continues to have them, he may have delicate veins in his nose. Make sure the child isn't picking his nose. In dry air, mucous gets crusty and kids try to dig. No one likes debris in their nasal cavity.
Dry air is a big culprit.

My five year old gets them frequently. He has allergy and sinus issues. When the nasal passages get irritated it cause the blood capillaries to swell which can cause bleeding. You also may want to consider the possibility of a sinus infection.
