My lovely Aunt Mary joined a bible fellowship church and she has become very wacky. Now she has a video on her wall in a frame. She told us that after she gets raptured with the other believers, we should take the video out of the frame and watch it. Well I just could not wait so I already watched it and it is wack. These believers think that one day they (the saved people) will ascend into the clouds and meet Jesus in the air and live in heaven while the rest of us (unsaved) people suffer from rivers turning to blood and hail the size of bolders and monsters eating our children. Aunt Mary keeps telling us to not take the mark of the beast whatever that may mean. How could such a smart lady get sucked into such a wacky cult and how could this group of folks think that they are chosen because they consider themselves saved. As long as you hang your sins on the cross then you go to heaven while the rest of us perish in an eternal flame. Poor Aunt Mary.

She is wrong. She has been decieved by a false belief(the rapture) that stared in 1830,by a vision a metally disturbed woman had named Margret macdonald. The rapture is the work ultimatly of satan himself and the reason he wants people to belive it is that he satan comes to earth as antchrist,claiming he is the true Christ. satan comes at the 6th trump,the true Christ at the 7th. So those that belive in the rapture are going to be decieved and spiritual non virgins because they jumped in bed with satan because he comes first claiming that he is jesus come to rapture them away. However the true Christ says when He comes He wants a vigin bride. It amazes me how people love fairy tales. All fairy tales do is lead people away from the true God because they are ignorant,and not the true doctrine. Follow the doctrine of God and not men. Also would recommend the book by Dave Mchperson called The incrideble cover up It will give you information on this false and satanic teaching called the rapture.

I have to say your aunt is right. There is going to be a Rapture when Jesus comes. All the people who believe in him will be taken up to Heaven and the other people who are left on earth will have to face the AntiChrist and suffer until the AntiChrist is killed. The mark of the Beast your aunt is talking about is a mark that every person in the world will have to get. If people do not have this mark, they will not be able to buy or sell any goods. Read the Bible, especially the Apocalypse, better known as Revelations, the last book of the Bible. It clearly talks about what is going to happen in the End Days. It was written by John, the Beloved, one of the Disciples who followed Jesus.

Ok...That sounds pretty crazy. I do know about the rapture. It's when all the people who believe in Jesus and who practice good faith will be taken to heaven. While all the other people will be left on earth. It will cause great chaos because no one knows when it will happen so there will be car crashes, fires, what not. the rest of what you were talking about sounds crazy. I'm not sure what religion she went into.
Has she read the 'left behind' series? that's what those are about.

Go talk to Aunt Mary. Everything you have said she said is in the bible. I guarantee you if she has told you all this she can show it to you in the bible. If nothing else get the video left behind. It's a 3 part series but it is based on the prophesies of the bible about the end of time. Take Heed don't make fun she is smarter than you think

Give your aunt a break. I am a Roman Catholic and while I do not believe in the "pre-trib rapture" that many Protestants do, she is only trying to help you. As far as Jesus being the only way to God through repentance and faith, you may want to listen to her because she is right. You need Jesus Christ whether your aunt is crazy or not.

Sounds about right to me. Poor Aunt Mary?? perhaps instead of judging your Aunt as insane, just think of this one small point...What if shes right? would you want to be left behind? If in your heart of hearts, your ok with that, then more power to you. But if theres one bit of hesitation, Id seriously examine the possibility before condemning her as insane.
