My sister and a girlfriend of mine are trying to get me to go on a date with another guy. as guys go he is cute.

First things first, you need to get your priorities in order.
What does "cute" have to do with "nice" or "compatible"?
If you base all your relationships on what you think of a person's general appearance, you are in for a world of let downs. There are a whole heap of average and even below-average looking people who have a great deal to offer their friends. They are more apt to be honest, reliable, compassionate and understanding. I'd pick a guy with a Pinocchio nose over a hunk any day of the week.
If you can't make THIS decision on your own, how do you expect to live your life, have a career or do anything else of any importance? Decide if you want to go out with this guy or if you want to include him in your next party or meet up with him, your sister and friends at the next ball game and see if there is any attraction or electricity between you.

I am a guy, and here's my answer. Do you want to go on a date with the guy? If you've entertained the thought before there's only one way to find out if it's for you or not. So my answer is: If you want to go for it, if not then don't. You shouldn't let them push you to do something you don't want to do. If nothing else you could just think about it as hanging out with the guy. Don't worry about the people that says it will make you gay or bi because last I check unless you have sex or make out with the guy it won't make you either of those things.

Well first of all let me tell you that you should do what you think is right don't guide yourself towards what other people tell you to do...just do what your heart tells you to do...If you want to go on a date with another guy go on it only if you want to....But if you're already with someone i think it wouldn't be right for you to go on a date but hey if your single why not....what can go wrong!!! just do what you feel like doing!!!...Good Luck!!!

As long as you and your sister are not going to play the boyfriend/girlfriend role, help her out. Who knows, you may have a good time and maybe hook up with the friend.

follow your heart do what you think is best.But if you don't want to go out with the guy than tell your sister and your girlfriend straight up that you don't want to date the guy.But if you are gay go ahead but if your not gay then don't go unless if you want to be gay.But do what you think is best.Good luck
