I am 16 and really like this guy who works in the office next door to me he is about 18, I quiet often see him walking down the corridor and he looks right at me and smiles, I told someone in my office that I like him and he said he would put in a word for me but I asked him not to beacuse I am scared of being rejected, I think he might say something nasty about the way i look, I aint really ugly but i aint the prettiest girl in the world either, but this might just be because I have quite low self esteem and I think he might call me a minger or something, If i dont let him know thought I think I might live to regret it, because you only live once right, is it worth letting him know?? Any Suggestions would be wonderful.

You said it sweetie, anything worth having is worthing fighting for. But first I would suggest that you fight for yourself. You have to raise your self esteem and realize how beautiful you are regardless of what the world thinks. Believe in the beauty you possess and he will recgonize it too and then he will come to you then. Love yourself sweetie, because I know you are beautiful.

Don't worry about the rejection...it happens ( and not just because you don't think you're pretty, most guys find different things attractive than girls do) and at least you will know...but If he smiles at you everytime I doubt that he will reject you. The next time you see him talk to him for a bit, It may be that you and he will have a lot in common (like being shy) and that may lead you to real romance, Or you may find out that he isn't into the same stuff as you but would still like to be your freind......You'll never know until you try

I know how that can be but if you let him know with a letter or something maybe get his email addy and send him a note if you dont want to do it in person. The worst could happen is he just says no he isnt interested, if he takes it any further than that he is a jerk!

Maybe you should try asking to hang out one day and see how he responds to that, and maybe once you get to know him a little you can find the courage to tell him and see how he feels. You may get to know him and not like his personality only his looks.

Well yea, we are afraid of rejection too, so heres my advice. Say hi, for about a week..... then say hey you want to hang out sometime, then the next time ask him on a date. flirt majorly. then tell him, in a quiet inocent voice, i like you... it works!!!~!!!!! then its like.. you know if he would accept or like you...

Yo, go for it, What have you to lose?? But if that doesn't work, then contact me. I like ALL women's shapes, sizes, looks, etc. I don't take the female form for granted.

OMG i know exactly how u feel.
gurl, u gotta have a positive attitude, i learned to be careful wat comes out ur mouth and 2 be careful about wat u speak u must wake up every morning and tell yourself that you're beautiful, practice that.
Then make sure u smile alot, give him something to notice about you...
But make sure the person telling him tells him nicely and not straightly like"she likes u" but it`ll b fine!

i say let that guy tell him you like him, cause you never know he may like you too.. and youd never find out unless you kinda put it out there but this way you wont have fear of rejection, cause your not bluntly telling the guy yourself.
but it sounds like to me he may like you
go for it, and life it too short to live on what ifs,.....

just tell him "hey I think you're really cool and I really like you. if you don't like me that's okay, I just wanted to tell you that" it will be good to get it off your chest. just get it over with.
