happens to the best of us. but always keep this in the back of your mind: if you were in his position, would you be acting the same way? my guess is probably. so many of us do. just give it some time for the relationship to be not so new.

He is growing up and expanding his circle of awareness to include a "partner" ... so if you are truly his friend and/or unless YOU are interested in dating or marrying him (LOL) - give the guy some space - he will ALWAYS value and need your friendship and the memories the two of you made together - but sometimes - a guy needs a girl for more than just a conquest. It is all part of growing up. Being a jerk or putting him and/or his girl down will only ruin what you have had together. Your future with him is actually in your hands. Besides - no one (male or female) enjoys getting nagged or being made to chose between two people. If you haven't gotten there yet - you will at some point - then you WILL understand. I had all brothers and have had all sons and have seen this happen over and over again... It is part of life and growing up. He isn't rejecting you - just chosing to spend more time with her - relax - IT'S ALL GOOD - you will see...

Good question. There are two types of people in this world. Single people and Married/Serious relationship people. The latter always tries to make the single people suffer because married/relationship people ruined their own lives and they are miserable so they try to make the single people miserable. Segregation, avoidance, and setting the single person up is some of the things that a married/relationship person does to the single person.

Get his own girlfriend and double-date (go out as a group). After awhile, a couple settles into a confidence level where guys feel comfortable hanging out with their guy friends again. For awhile, in the beginning, it's all about the new love interest.

Ummmmmm......my first, last and sadly still my only ex-girlfriend got really ANGRY at me because I didn't change when she became my girlfriend.
We were best friends before, but after our first kiss she expected me to treat her as an inferior in some ways and a superior in others.
She had fallen in love with me for treating her as an equal.
Why are ladies so insane?!?!? Do you really NOT want a guy to change? You should come to Tempe and gimme a call, hehe =)

A person must give his friend a break....you have been together for a while...he got a new GF, its like getting a new toy...everything is new...give it some time and things will go back to normal....in general guys do not like to do the same thing over and over, so soon, he will miss his friend and would want to do things together again...if you hound him about leaving you for his GF,,,then he will hold back and withdraw.....

So just give him time, thats what you do...and act normal...keep calling him or whatever it is that you do....DO not bring his GF up....at all.
