Obviously you have your average size 10 followed by 8 then 6. The smallest person ive seen is a 6, am I to believe it then goes 4, 2, 0. I can't see how its possible to get that skinny and to drop 3 dress sizes from a 6.

A size 0 is an American size. It's about the equivilent of a UK size 6, measurements 31-23-33 to 32-24-34. Some say it's a UK size 4, but I'd say that is more like a US 00!

Size 0 is a women's clothing size in the US catalogue sizes system equivalent to a UK size 4. It is also a concept within the European fashion media relating to models with low body mass.

According to Wikipedia - Size 0 is: bust size: 31.5 inches (80 cm); Waist size: 23 inches (60 cm); Hip size: 34 inches (86 cm).

It is often mistaken for a petite size because it is so small. While many petite women do wear size 0, the true definition of petite sizes in the fashion world has more to do with height than with thinness; in the United States, it generally refers to a woman who is under 5'4" (163 cm).

There is a programme on ITV tonight at 9pm (The Truth About Size Zero), where singer Louise Redknapp basically experiments with becoming a size zero to see what happens to her body and general health - might be worth watching if you want to find out more.

Size zero is a UK size 4. I've never seen size 4 products being sold, it's nasty.

Obviously there are exceptions - my friend was premature and so is naturally incredibly thin. But on the whole I don't think size zero/4 should be supplied to anyone.

Size Zero in the Uk is a size 4 and if anyone is stupid enough to want to be that then their health be it.
You can go to any store that sells clothes up to size 18 and you will not find them on shelf why because majority of us are either 14/16/18 but no one dare admit me size 16 curvy, healthy and proud.

size zero is a uk size 4,
there is a documentary on itv 1 tonight at 9pm with Louise Rednapp who was a size 6-8 and went down to a size 0 .
she did it in 8 weeks and it was done under supervision of a dr and now shes put the weight back on again.
She said it made her feel really weak and ill and moody as she wasn't eating enough to live and survive.

think the average size in the uk is 14/16 - it's just the magazine images etc that make you think otherwise. have a look round in the supermarket if you're not convinced!!!

size 0 is fine if that's the way you are. if you have to starve yourself to get there it's not. sorry - i'm not actually answering your question - it's size 4 uk
