Contrary to what gwhiz says, the apostles supposedly performed miracles too.
Good question, if there was some of that old time religion going on I might pay attention

Check out Andrew Wommack.
We don't have the faith for them.
Corrie ten Boom tells of a bottle of liquid vitamins that lasted. . .and lasted. . .and lasted. Until one of the prisoners acquired vitamins from the infirmary. Then there was no more liquid vits.
Or the family in the Far East (don't remember the country; Viet Nam maybe? Check out Voice of the Martyrs and Gospel for Asia websites). The parents wer put in jail for about 11 days. Their very young children were locked in their house and the neighbors were threatened if they helped the children in any way. But every day, there was rice in the rice pot, and when the parents were allowed to come home, their children were well and well-fed.
Yes, these are "small" miracles. If we had the faith, I believe God would still do big ones. Pray. Read. Exercise your faith. Be true to Him.

For some reason Zeus and Quetzalcoatl have also stopped performing miracles...
It's either because the Gods are keeping themselves hidden in order to strengthen our Faith, or the gods and miracles don't exist, never existed, and the reason for the "sudden stop" in miracles is because modern man is not nearly as gullible as his primitive ancestors. Notice that vampires, witches, and werewolves have also stopped!

Too many people have forgotten that the base of all miracles is Magick and too few study to become members of the Magi as the Magus Jesus was.

Because now we have historical records, photography, rational thought, and other things that get in the way of precious-moments miracles. The Miricales that happen today are not obvious to us.

because we NEVER have had them
this is mythology.
it's like asking: "why isn't peter pan flying around waving his wand, and where is tinker bell?"
it's unprovable, mythical fiction.
imagination is fun, but it doesn't translate to reality.
Cheers!
