I'll assume you're sitting in a library right now using a public computer??? Homeless people don't usually have internet access.

When you say "Pending Lawsuit", I'll assume you have an attorney and have filed a suit?? If so, then go talk to your attorney for advice. Maybe he can get the claim settled.

If you haven't filed a lawsuit or don't have an attorney, call the insurance adjuster. If your medical treatment has finished, settle your claim and get your check. If you're still under treatment, and the insurance has accepted liability for the claim, ask for an advance. They will sometimes do that.

No one is going to give you a cash advance based on some future payment that you might get from an insurance company. There is no guarantee that you'll ever collect. If they deny the claim, or the other party was uninsured, they'd never get their money back.

My son was a pedestrian about two years ago and was hit by a car. Car was 100% at fault. However, it was a 19 year old kid with no insurance. My son had over $60,000 in hospital and doctors bills and never collected a dime from the other party. Insurance settlements are not guaranteed so don't expect someone to loan you money on something you might get.

If you've already filed a lawsuit and are working with an attorney, look into legal funding as a financing option to keep up with bills as your case continues. It's not right for everyone, but many people benefit from receiving a small cash advance rather than having to wait until their case is settled. These advances are non-recourse, so you wouldn't owe anything if you lost, but the rate of return on winning cases can be relatively high. Your attorney should help you through this process, and you should do some independent research on your own as well.
